University of the Built Environment has partnered with the Chartered Surveyors Training Trust (CSTT) to fund 50% of the BSc Access Module fee for students who most need a helping hand to begin their built environment career.

What is the BSc Access Module?

The BSc Access Module is a gateway to allow students with non-standard entry qualifications or those who do not have enough UCAS points to progress onto our undergraduate degree programmes. It takes six months to complete, with students expected to undertake seven to ten hours of study per week.

Who is eligible?

Anyone who needs a helping hand to start their career is eligible to apply for this bursary (UK and international). We particularly welcome applications from BAME, LGBTQ+, disabled, lower socio-economic and care leaver candidates.

How will the bursaries be awarded?

Bursaries will be awarded to those students who the University of the Built Environment Bursaries Working Group and the Chartered Surveyors Training Trust believe will be most helped by receiving the support.

Postgraduate Scholarship

The University will fund up to 50% of the University of the Built Environment postgraduate programme fee for a limited number of new students who have demonstrated outstanding academic ability and financial need.

Who is eligible?

Applicants in any country who can demonstrate a strong academic record in their previous studies, for example, a Bachelor degree classification of a first or 2.1, or equivalent, are eligible to apply. We particularly welcome applications from international, BAME, LGBTQ+, disabled, lower socio-economic and care leaver candidates.

How will the scholarships be awarded?

Your application will be assessed and if you meet the scholarship criteria, you will be invited for a virtual interview to discuss your academic achievements and your ambitions for your career in the Built Environment.

A discount of up to 50% will be awarded to those students who have demonstrated previous academic excellence and whom the University of the Built Environment Bursaries Working Group believe will be most helped by receiving the support.

Which degree programmes can this scholarship be used for?

 

 

How do I apply?

You must have received an offer to study on a University of the Built Environment MSc or MBA to be able to apply for this scholarship. Once this has been received for the relevant intake, you need to:

  • Complete this Postgraduate Scholarship Form >
  • Provide evidence of academic excellence – this might be in the form of a testimonial or academic reference. Your certificates and transcripts will already have been provided as part of your application, but you may wish to provide further evidence)
  • Provide financial evidence – your last three pay slips, your last two months’ bank statements and/or evidence of receipt of benefits if unemployed
  • Please send the supporting documents to finance@ube.ac.uk

Are there any exclusions?

The Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme is not available for the Postgraduate Single Module or for applicants whose study will be partly or fully funded by an employer or by the UK Government Apprenticeship Scheme.

Any retake fees incurred will not form part of the scholarship award and will be due in full.

LSA Student Bursary 25/26

Bursary Scheme – London School of Architecture students

Application deadline

8 October at 6pm for Autumn 2025 entry

Our bursary scheme is designed to assist those students who are able to demonstrate financial need. The bursary is only open to students who have received an offer from the London School of Architecture. Direct payments of £500 will be made in terms 1 and 2 of this academic year to successful applicants. Students in year 1 and 2 are eligible to apply.

Please send any additional evidence and proof of income (if you have not applied previously to student loans company for a student loan) to finance@ube.ac.uk this evidence is outlined within the application form.

If your application is successful, you will be notified in November 2025.
