Peter McCrea OBE steps down as Chair of the Board

We are saddened to share that, due to personal reasons, Peter McCrea OBE has stepped down from his role as Chair of the Board at the University of the Built Environment with immediate effect.

Since taking up the role earlier this year, Peter has played a valued part in guiding the University during a period of great and positive change, including supporting the transition to our new name and university title. His leadership and commitment will be undoubtedly missed, and we would like to extend our warmest thanks to him for his service as Chair. Peter will remain as an Independent Trustee on the Board.

The Vice Chair, Ros Kerslake CBE, has been appointed as Chair on an interim basis, with recruitment for a permanent Chair taking place in due course.
