Posted on: 4 November, 2025

Are you a prospective architecture student? Discover what it’s like to study the Part 2 MArch at the London School of Architecture (LSA) during an Open Evening on Wednesday 19 November 2025, from 6–8 pm.
Explore the LSA’s studio spaces, meet tutors and students, and gain first-hand insight into how the school’s innovative, practice-embedded model prepares future architects for the realities of the profession.
“I really enjoyed the LSA open evening – the work on display was inspiring and showed the creativity of the course. It’s made me even more excited to join and be part of that community”
– Amelia Heath, MArch Designing Architecture – Year 1 Student
Meet the faculty and students
During the evening, Head of School Lee Ivett and Head of the Part 2 Programme Dr Ruth Lang will outline the LSA’s distinct approach to architectural education and its close connection with industry.
MArch students and module leaders are on hand to answer any of your questions, and you can view a curated display of student work showcasing inventive, socially engaged projects from across the two-year programme.
“I was really glad I attended the open evening before applying as it was a great opportunity to meet staff and students, explore the school and understand the kind of work I would get to do.”
– Hannah Bendon, MArch Designing Architecture – Year 1 Student
Student placements
The evening will include opportunities to learn more about the first-year student placement, an integral feature of the LSA’s model, and to seek advice on preparing a strong application ahead of admissions opening in early 2026.
The University of the Built Environment merged with the LSA in May 2025.
The opening evening will be held at LSA’s studio on 4 Beechwood Road, London, E8 3DY.
