Micro-placement changed everything for me

A student success story with Licja Salter

For students seeking their first foothold in the built environment, practical work experience can be the bridge between study and employment. A new micro-placement initiative at the University of the Built Environment is helping students gain that crucial exposure to industry. For MSc Building Surveying graduate Alicja Salter, a two-week placement at Tyburn Consulting not only provided invaluable insight into the profession but led directly to a permanent role.
