Here for you

Built for careers

We know that our students are passionate about their future careers and University of the Built Environment Careers Service is here to support you, as you build a fulfilling and satisfying career path and wider work life balance. Our services reflect students’ priorities, including the focus on work with ethical employers and the growing interest and commitment to sustainability.

We understand that students need flexible and accessible careers education. We build employability skills into the curriculum by working closely with University academics and provide other careers focused support and resources for students to use flexibly.

Our service can be used by all current students and we work with alumni for three years after graduation or leaving the University. The service is free, impartial and confidential and we take the collecting and storage of data seriously, following the appropriate policies.

As champions of the built environment, we consult employers, industry partners and professional bodies to ensure that our careers resources are relevant and up to date. Regulation plays a key part in Higher Education provision and the Careers Service works within relevant legislation, regulation and quality standards, including the AGCAS Quality Standard and Matrix.
