Biography

Jacqui has over ten years’ experience teaching in Higher Education, with a background in research and development in the pharmaceutical industry. She began her career at the University of the Built Environment as an Academic Support Tutor, supporting project students to develop their research skills and confidence in academic study. Jacqui is currently a doctoral researcher at Oxford Brookes University, where her research focuses on the experiences of non-traditional students in Higher Education, with particular attention to belonging, mattering, and inclusive academic practice.
